Or, in other words, 'having your consciousness expanded can hurt, sometimes.' Which migh be why so many people seem to resist it so much.

I won't claim to expand your consciousness with every single post. Or at all. But there are some topics that always seem to degenerate into anger, hostility, or sullen silence. I think it's because whatever camps there are, are often unwilling to really try to understand the other side of the position.

Domestic politics, foreign policy, religion, and others. This is where those topics go.

Be angry, if you want. But if you comment while you're angry, then at least have the courtesy to be literate and thoughtful while you go about it.

Color Scheme

And since people complained last time, someone tell me if I remembered to change the color scheme to something more acceptable.

I can read it just fine, but evidently my eyes are strange. (It's not the monitor-- looks fine to me at work, too.)

And if it still sucks, recommend another red/black scheme along this theme.

Tolerable, yeah. Still a little faint, but "bright, faint red" is more or less synonymous with "pink." so you don't really have a lot of options. As it is, you've essentially got a dark pink blog.

Certainly it's tolerable at the rate you've been posting....
