Okay, look.
I'm a Circuit Design Lead in the middle of a marathon-sprint of a development cycle. I started out five months behind, three and a half months ago, and I'm only two weeks behind everyone else, now.
I have two non-trivial classes this quarter: Parallel Algorithms which has a research paper project, and Monte Carlo Estimation Techniques, which has a large programming project.
I run two RPGs (Sins of the Father, and In Media Res) and I'm in another (House of Cards.)
I occasionally try to read something unrelated to all of these things, because my To Be Read stack now occupies a bookcase and a half.
Can someone please explain to me why I keep looking at the fantasy terrain cartographic software packages as though I actually had time to scratch the fantasy world creation itch I've got?
...The fuck is wrong with me?

Posted by: Pam at January 14, 2004 09:03 PMWhile Pam's point has approached my solution to a lesser version of your problem, I may have another suggestion.
You need a woman.
That should force you to reevaluate your priorities...as well as occupying a significant amount of your creative urges in the eternal quest for the answer to the question "What did I do now?" This will take all of your creative efforts to attempt to resolve, I assure you.
HTH!
